URGENT Notices: regarding the 2008 Eastern Surfing Championships
Wednesday, 8pm update:  The contest is ON HOLD for Thursday due to the weather forecast.  The contest should resume on Friday with the location to be determined.  The schedule for Thursday and Friday will be run on Friday.  Please check back for details.  Posted updates will also be available at Natural Art Surf shop in Buxton, click on the Transworld Surf 2008 sponsors link on the right side, listen to 99.1 FM for radio or call 888-632-4742.


Wednesday, 10am update:  Contest is running as posted on the schedule, waves currently 4' to 6', off shore winds.


Contest for Wednesday, September 24, 2008 will be moved from the Lighthouse in Buxton to Ramp 55 in Hatteras.  This location is past Frisco across from the Ocracoke Ferry Terminal.

Please use the Museum parking lot to park which is across the street from Ramp 55.  There is no street parking.  Please DO NOT go over the dunes, use the walkway provided.  If your vehicle is 4 wheel drive you can drive on the beach and turn right (south) to park on the beach.

All ESA Directors please report to Ramp 55 at 6:00am
