The Eastern Surfing Association is thrilled to welcome Swellinfo on board as a 2013 ESA sponsor.
Swellinfo’s mission is to produce and organize the best swell and weather information available in the world and to provide this information to the user in a simple and free format specific to their local region.
“We are very excited to be working with Swellinfo,” says ESA Executive Director Michelle Sommers. “As a surfer myself, I use Swellinfo several times each day and know that many surfers rely on its accurate and user-friendly surf forecasts.”
Swellinfo aims to produce the absolute best quality information for the user’s local area and have it all easily accessible on one page. Swellinfo forecasts are simple enough for beginner surfers, but include all the detailed weather data and charts for the most advanced surf forecasters, watermen and meteorologists.
Micah Sklut, Swellinfo’s CEO and lead forecaster, says, “With the highs and lows of 2012 fresh in our minds, from the terrible devastation of Hurricane Sandy to the recent epic run of icy barrels in the Northeast, we at Swellinfo considered how we could contribute to a better 2013. We are excited about helping grow a positive surf community, and we couldn’t think of a better way to do this then supporting the efforts of the ESA.”
Sommers states,
