Important notice: As of the close of business at ESA-CHQ on Friday, August 12 at 5pm any new entries received at CHQ will have the status of "Late Paid Alternate." Any new competitors will go to the bottom of the slot list after "Paid Alternates" & competitors with a "Medical" status. Any Regional Certified district representatives who are members in good standing of the ESA through SEPTEMBER 30, 2011 can apply for any remaining open slots as a "Late Paid Alternate". Electronic or mailed entries for a "Late Paid Alternate" slots will be open until Monday, September 12th at 5pm for any remaining unfilled open slots...
Eligibility: Certified district representatives who are members in good standing of the ESA through SEPTEMBER 30, 2011. A contestant applying for entry whose membership expires before September 30, 2011 must renew his or her membership with entry fee. Entry is open only to those competitors who are in full compliance with the ESA Competition Code (rev. Jan 1, 2006.)
Slotted & Alternates: All mailed entry checks will be deposited to allow time for checking clearing. CHQ will issue any refund due to a non-slotted competitor within 30 days from Monday, September 26, 2011.
NOTE: If your membership expires before September 30, 2011 please join on-line or fill out a membership form and attach a separate check for a membership with your entry.

Competitors are responsible for using the proper equipment and abiding by the ESA Rules of Competition. Competitors are responsible for schedule changes, as the posted schedule is always subject to change due to weather conditions. There will be no refunds to “no shows” in a posted heat. Competitors are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times.
Special Notice to Competitors: All athletes, families, and friends are to park in the south parking lot only, like in previous years. NO Parking is allowed in the North lot, closest to the actual contest site (old lighthouse location) except with special permits.
